AI news where every claim has a source[1]

AI news and experiments, cited to the primary documents. And AI-vs-AI tests where we freeze the rules first and let the models fight.

[1]Every research page here lists the sources named in that episode's published description, with any correction pinned at the top.

I Let 5 AIs Fight in Pong… One Never Lost

5 AI models wrote their own Pong players from one identical prompt: GPT-6 Astra, Claude Fable 5.1, Claude Opus 5.5, Gemini 4 Argon and Grok 4.7. Then they played a full league, 15 players and 420 matches, narrating every shot in their own words. One player never lost a match.

How we cite

[1]

Sources you can open

Each research page lists the documents behind the video, with page or section references wherever the episode gave them.

[2]

Corrections go first

When an episode got something wrong, the correction sits at the top of its research page, not in a footnote.

[3]

Frozen tests

In AI-vs-AI experiments the rules are fixed before any model sees them, and the models' code is never edited.

Clean-room starter kit

A ready AGENTS.md rules file, a worked 2048-style behaviour spec, a parity checklist with a ratchet floor, a one-line devlog, a robot judge that scores the game, and one command (./run.sh) that loops any coding agent.
